We're a small boutique firm that proudly serves heart centered entrepreneurs who want to feel grounded and on top of their finances through done for you bookkeeping support. Somehow, with my Bachelors in Marine Biology and Masters Degree in Public Health, I ended up falling in love with bookkeeping. I've always been a scientist and a numbers girl at heart. So, in a way, it does make sense. 

I’m also a minimalist, environmentalist & 3/6 Manifesting Generator with a lot of logic circuitry, open mindedness and heart energy. 

I worked at Fidelity Investments and did bookkeeping for a small electrician company after college, but I didn’t get my Bookkeeping Certification until 3 years ago. I’m now Quickbooks Certified, Xero Certified, Gusto Certified & Bookkeeping Certified (through Bookkeeper Training School (with CPA & Masters in Taxation Expert Kristin Ingram)). I'm the CEO and I also do 1:1 bookkeeping for my clients. The Book Belle is expanding this year and we're planning on hiring other bookkeepers. So if you sign on, you may work with me or one of my team members. After seeing SO MANY accounting struggles … my goal is evolving and I'm working on creating some small courses and eventually I hope change the coaching & course creator industry to educate more people about accounting in business. 

It may sound weird, but I really believe small businesses add magic to our world in so many ways. Some of the most joyous moments of my life have involved a small business. Farmers markets, local flowers, beautiful handmade soap, hand stitched quilts, inspired taco trucks, raw milk, homemade bread, therapists, trauma coaches, my own personal physician & course creators. I could go on and on.  I just find so much delight in small businesses. Bookkeeping comes easy to me and I love supporting this industry.  Also, there's something about seeing a reconciliation report equal zero that my soul finds great peace & comfort in.  

About my personality:

I'm very methodical, and yet a little bouncy. I'm not a modern person, I don't carry my cell phone with me all day and someday I hope to get a landline phone & answering machine. I like to stay informed and updated with clients. I hold strong boundaries. I have fallen in love with the European work ethic as opposed to American hustle culture - and - I still work very hard. I like to experiment until I find the simplest and most efficient solution,  I see many solutions to one problem. I'm an idea person more than a certainty person and I have a lot of passion that I really try to keep in check!
